The first thing that happened was an announcement that none of the computers were working today, so we switched our Friday and Wednesday plans. We went to the library to get a source book for our I-search. We will type our sensory pieces on Friday (fingers crossed technology works.) We also finished our first Daybook assignment on making connections.
I reminded kids (as I do on Wednesdays and Fridays) that I am checking in on their reading. Some students are not reading at home. This is a homework expectation. Start with 10 minutes and work your way up.
