I spend yesterday in Killington learning about Positive Behavior Interventions. I'm back today. We started out with the laptop computers. Mr. Aube presented our guidelines for typing writing pieces for writing workshop. We all got our pieces mostly typed and emailed to Ms.Lamb. We will finish next week and then take them back to workshop for comments and revisions.
In social studies we collected all the word study for the week and the journals (okay, a little language arts seeps into social studies sometimes.) Then we had our first "quiz" to see if we are getting it.
Ms. Lamb also collected and assessed journals today. I look for the number of entries, clarity and length. We are getting better already.
Next week we have NECAP tests and will not have homework.
